Waffles, Why So Serious?

I made a flippant comment on Waffles' recent post where he criticized the play of Poker Grump and earned a post of my own from him raining down his particular brand of vitriol on me.  I tried to make a rebuttal in the comments and jab him with the virtual stick, but he deleted both of my comments.

I thought his skin was thicker than that and he would just fire back at me, but he chose to just maintain his bully pulpit by silencing me. I'm disappointed because I really thought Waffles was somebody who could give and get abuse when it was all in fun.  I thought that was sort of his thing.  Guess not...

    Huh, I'm surprised he deleted it since he reprinted it in his subequent post, didn't he?

    I don't know why. I was commenting on the new post. I commented. The posts showed up. I checked back later to see if Waffles had responded and the comment was gone. So I commented about the deleted comment. It showed up. I checked back later to see if he replied to that one. Also gone.

    I do NOT delete any comments EVER! EVER!!! I have no idea what happened to the comments. So do not accuse me of deleting your comments. I love your comments. I am not some dickhead that deletes peoples comments if they disagree... Something weird is going on with Blogger... not sure what... Mr. Prosks comments were not showing either.. then they suddenly appeared... weird...

    I enjoy the vitrol :). It's fun to have an argument about poker. I always learn a lot.

    For some reason it thinks you and Poker Meister are Spam... Not sure why. I told it that you are not... I have never had a comment marked as SPAM before... weird..

      In Waffles' defense (God forgive me), he's right about not deleting comments. He'd just yell back some more as I remember the marathons between he and smokkee and Hoy et cetera. Keep up the good work on getting him in character.

    Blogger has really been crazy lately. They made some "improvements" that definitely are not.
